About The Artwork
In the last photo you can see the moment of splitting granite to create a sword. I split the granite so as to preserve as much of the stone as possible as it is inside, showing, as it were, the edge of the nature of the stone. On the blade I kept this “edge of nature” of the granite stone. in fact, I created the sword around this split.
