About The Artwork
Mathematics inspired this statue... the moebius loop especially as the silk tie goes from the calves to the arms then the neck, through the knees and back to the calves.... indefinitely i hope the viewer can feel the ambiguity, the tension but also a kind of release. bronze as a medium for my work came naturally because i'm a jewellery maker. Which also explains why the sculptures are small.
