This sculpture was inspired by the striking plumage which peacocks have, I wanted to use texture and colour to represent this. I was able to observe and photograph the birds in a natural setting I hope to transmit calm and tranquility with the resting pose shown in the sculpture.

I am a British artist living in the south of Spain. I live near the Doñana national park where I am able to photograph and observe wildlife, this has been the inspiration for many of my sculptures. Others have been private commisions. I love travelling which provides me with inspiration for future projects. I am particularly interested in South American countries because I have some South American heritage.
