About The Artwork
This word drawing is about the mistakes of the past and letting them go. This image was created at the same time the artist was having a fair bit of "work" done on his hands and as such naturally this image reflects the tattoos on his hands. He wear them them like badges of honour and shame as they represent his accomplishments and failures. the Butterfly is representative the person who set the "wiseman" or shaman free. Allowing himself to forgive past mistakes and fall into himself again. this is the first coloured word drawing created. this work is also based on the writing of Brad Warner a "punk" zen Monk!! this work was meant to stay in the artists collection till after his death.
