About The Artwork
I started this series as a distraction from the current world climate. I wanted to make something dreamy and fantastic. I would hope my images allow my collectors to have that same mental escape when they view my pieces. A little break from reality. These pieces are made from a mixture of my own home photographs, vintage photos and images from vintage books. This particular piece has a turn of the century actress releasing butterflies into the universe to make change with what seems like small, inconsequential flutters of their wings.
