About The Artwork
This piece was done as design for potential t-shirt production. I honestly drew this with a days notice, and was able to achieve a well-drawn illustration within a short amount of time. I was inspired by color-blocking which is the style that I am most interested in at the moment. The combination of color-blocking as well as linework is one of my favorite aspects of drawing. I hope the viewers feel the sense of a confined space made into something more personal. As the women is seen contacting someone on the phone as she holds a group of books tightly to her chest.
