About The Artwork
The warm colours of the greek summer are always a great challenge to depict. Gerhard Richter's rakeltechniek has inspired me to create my own rakel-spatula and have fun spreading combinations of colours I like. Layer after layer, shapes and forms come to life. A forest, a waterfall-boy and even little red riding hood, trying to give some comfort.
