This painting is inspired by Roskilde festival and the orange feeling. This is about everythings relatedness, openness, between the audience, live music and everything occuring at the yearly Roskilde festivals. The culture of laughter is the atmospheric glue that keeps Roskilde festival together and it is the performative and relational designs together with the culture of laughter that create the basis for The Orange Feeling (Kib H, Marling G and Jespersen LMB 2017: The orange feeling. Mood and atmosphere at Roskilde festival). I went a bit bananas, but later I added the famous tent (former Rolling Stones tent), and some orange colors to integrate this motive, and still keep the impression of live concert in green landscape outside the provincial city of Roskilde. Each year (not in 2020, hopefully again in 2021) this largest festival in Northern-Europa / Scandinavia is a kind of get away festival, where people once a year gather to escape regular life and for a few days or a week come together to party, listen to music, engage, explore architecture, art and sex, drugs and rock'n roll, or just relax with friends and a couple of beers.

I am a Danish hydrologist currently working as a principal investigator and researcher at the Geological Survey of Denmark and Greenland at Øster Voldgade 10, 1350 in Copenhagen (working in close cooperation with Copenhagen University institute for geology and geography). I am known for my research in the field of hydrogeology, with a focus on groundwater resources and their management, as well as the impact of climate change on groundwater systems. I have published many papers in the international scientific journals, and I am also a member of several scientific organisations.
