Collage, Acrylic on Wood
Size: 7.9 W x 7.9 H x 0.1 D in
This is one of my first artworks in the series "Disposables", a series of artworks incorporating used disposable masks, surgical and FFP2. "Everything seems to be so disposable that it is bordering on absurd. Masks are such a recognazible symbol of our pandemic times - something that protects and saves lives can be also seen as garbage, offence, obstacle, enemy, tools of oppression, stupid accessory, you name it. And it can certainly be a work of art."
