About The Artwork
This work is a mix of traditional and digital art types. It bridges the gap between old and new in both media and subject matter. By using oil paints to creat a soft yet dark forest surrounding a glowing opening at the end of the pathway I am leading the viewer into the future, into the new, and into the light. The fairies symbolize our old ways, traditions, legends, and ancestors, who guide us along as we journey through life, into the future, and into the mysterious unknown.
