My name is Roja Amiri, and I am a mixed media artist based in London. I paint, stitch and put handprints on fabrics to create my works. I've worked for a short time in a private fabric studio in Tehran, Iran, contributing to the production and design of handmade crafts. Upon immigrating to London, I established and managed a small online store, branded as MojGilan, specialising in the production of men’s ties. I paint, stitch and put handprints on fabrics to create my works. After spending a few years playing with textiles, embroidery, block printing, and fabric dyeing, I developed my own style and process, which I call Stitched Painting . I do not see the world except only through the lens of my own eyes.
