About The Artwork
Maybe a little Andy Warhol in this soft-toned piece called Twelve Blue Waves. I find the light blue colors and foamy white caps like a light surf crashing against the shore and then receding from whence it came. To me it paints a very calming idyllic place to be. The piece is textured with impasto style acrylic paint giving the work a three dimensional feel. It is simply framed in a floating black frame that is wired and ready to be hung. It is signed on the back but just by changing the wire it can be hung in a different direction.
