I love all the impressionist artists and that genre. In particular ,I adore Modigliani. His use of subtle color, his elongated features, his subject matter. It could all be very boring, but upon studying all the elements that make up the work, there is so much to see. His work intrigues me, as I know it does for many others. My series of Modigliani ladies is gone (thanks to Saatchi collectors) and I presume this gentleman will be on his way shortly to a new home.
