About The Artwork
I wanted to paint an apple tree. Once I finished the tree, I thought it needed something more, so I painted Adam climbing the tree to get an apple. Because Adam loves apples. I hope it makes people smile. I have been really into the folk art aesthetic lately, so I've been playing with simplicity of storytelling and roughness and texture of paint.
