About The Artwork
I painted this piece of art four years ago. I was going through a hard phase of life at that time and looking back at this painting, I always thank Allah that it is over now Alhamdulillah. Surah Ar-Rahman, also known as “The Beneficent,” is a beautiful chapter from the Quran. It’s a poetic and melodious recitation that highlights the countless blessings of our Lord. The most Highlighted word in this painting is "Al Rahman" which means "the most beneficent" and I think it is a perfect reminder for us to not feel desperate over our wrong doings, instead ask for forgiveness. the other highlighted word is " So which of the favors of your Lord you would deny" which motivates us to be thankful enough no matter whichever phase of life you are going through. I chose acrylics because I think acrylics is the medium I have grip on. And I chose abstract style to make my main words, which I explained before to pop more. I expect the art collectors to feel the same kind of connection to my artwork as I have.
