About The Artwork

"Atardecer" is part of the serie "Les Voyages de l´Air", a collection of abstract landscapes, where I tried to capture the atmosphere and the temperature of the place, with colors and quiet spaces. This particular landscape is inspired by a sunset in the Mexican countryside, with Trees in the background.Trees have been always source of inspiration through the history of men... For me the tree is a magical presence on earth, that guides us and shows us how to be. The tree is giving, with its fruits, its shadow, it silence, its peace...The tree has deep roots, it trunk is stable and its branches are flexible, they dance with the sound of the wind. Trees don´t ask for much but for water sometimes. Trees have a lot of wisdom to teach...

Then she moved to Germany for University. After that she moved to Mexico where she currently lives and works in her studio. Aziza teaches painting workshops in both Mexico and in the US, and has juried various art competitions. She has been interviewed by Golf News, Le Monde, Canvas Magazin Dubai, Art Absolument, Blanc et Bleu, Le Matin du Sahara, La Jornada, and a number of art magazines, among other publications. Aziza´s Artwork is present in many art collections worldwide and her paintings have been chosen to illustrate the covert page of multiple books and has been selected as well for the the French Baccalaureat Book to illustrate art..
