"My studio in Río Ceballos accumulates time, a latent time in constant progression, flowing, and, at the same time, extending the absence…” This artwork aims to shift the gaze away from the center to emphasize the periphery, the boundary of space. It begins with an exploration process starting from the materiality of painting to integrate experiences into the circulation spaces, in the 'IN-BETWEEN place' of the one carrying out the creation. This development has allowed me to continue reflecting on the interstitial spaces, considering them from their own definition as those that linger in an imprecise place, THE IN-BETWEEN. Within this process, I take the imprint, the joint of the ceramic floor in the studio, with high-resistance paint that becomes independent of its support. It is an expansion, a prolongation that traverses the wall until reaching the floor, repeating the process three times.
