I was inspired by Napoleon Bonaparte and the idea of combining historical figures with playful elements. I wanted to mix something serious and iconic with something fun and unexpected. I want viewers to enjoy the contrast between the powerful image of Napoleon and the cute, innocent bunny. It’s meant to make people smile and think about how we view history and power. I chose oil on canvas because I love the texture and depth it provides. The subject matter came from my interest in history and my desire to create something playful.
