The light shining in from a cold day makes the characters dimly lit, giving a surreal, cold and even sad appearance. There are so many colors blues, oranges and greens in the painting, but all directing you to the face of Clementine gazing almost blanky at the person she just met.

Hello, take a look around, I'll be adding new original pieces here from time-to-time. A little bit about me, I'm a middle-aged husband and father from Alliance, Ohio. Mostly I paint with Oils and Acrylics. I started painting in my early 20's and before that sketched with pencil. I'm self-taught and have been in the closet till recently. Most of my work is inspired by other art such as musicians and motion pictures. I lean towards painting portraits or scenes that have an emotional connection between two-subjects. I typically like to finish a piece in one evening. I can get lost in music and a whiskey and paint rapidly adding to the emotion of the piece. Other then art I am an avid Yogi and runnner. During the day I work as a front-end software manager for a company based in Houston, TX.
