This painting was inspired by Michelangelo's wonderful Pieta. It is intended to be a transcendent, contemplative piece of artwork which has been exhibited at Wells and Bradford Cathedrals. The Divine Mother has many layers of colour and holds cross-cultural significance as she explores and expresses the principle of the divine feminine. The painting has an oak frame included, adding approximately 5cm to each measurement. (56cm by 46cm by 2cm)
