An insight to the emptiness and isolation one can feel when experiencing anxiety. Imbuing a sense of spirituality and peace all the while leaving the bitter feeling of loneliness (a reflection of what I have experienced personally.) Through this distortion of a womanly figure, we discover the hardships of finding one’s individuality. The woman symbolises identity, with the discovery of it being the blooming flower at the top of her head. However we also visualise the sweating colours at her thighs. To me, the pool of lines demonstrates the stress around the necessity of having a defined identity.

Switzerland
I am a Canadian artist based in Switzerland - With my art, I aim to allow people to step into a world that isn't obviously theirs. I try to find beauty in the ordinary and spiritual in the mundane. A lot of my art is also centered on my own identity: where I have lived (Indonesia, Canada, Croatia, Switzerland) and travelled (most prominently Japan) I hope my art can transport you to my universe and bring you a youthful perspective on today.
