This painting was based on a photoshoot of decaying roses submerged in ice. The acrylic painting of decaying frozen roses is linked to the concept of the environment, and rapidly changing weather patterns. The decaying aspect of the roses is conveying how nature is struggling to adapt to the damage we are doing to our planet. This piece is created using acrylic painting of frozen roses, other media used were acrylic markers and pro markers, the original painting is 29.7-42cm in size but including the yellow wooden frame it is 36cm width x 49cm height.
