I painted this after Hurricane Irma nearly hit the Tampa Bay area in 2017. And, Ian had Tampa again in its crosshairs in September 2022. The boldly swirling colors and movement suggests the images of a hurricane as seen on tv. This is an energetic, visually appealing artwork that appeals to viewers on many levels.
