Navajo 1 Painting

I'm using powder pigments with water base, some are iridescent oil pastels and water colors mixed, some are oil paintings, pigments from original sources used since the Renaissance, using a medium to combine powder with water or mixing oil based with water based mediums, .Often I paint with nothing in mind, or a an idea, in my most recent paintings I painted what appears as an abstract landscape with suggestions of American Indian and Mexican Native symbols. Then using the technique of not fearing making mistakes, letting go and following higher intuition, impulses, spontaneously. in action painting, hence, sometimes turning the canvas upside down and I began to see and paint the outline of other imagery appearing from the colors and lines underneath suggesting features, of other imagery as I "channel" what appears from the colors and shapes underneath. I love the unpredictability of the way higher intuition allows "bleed through" images from beyond the logical minds imposed concept to appear.
