"One Last Wave" is a captivating piece painted on a 40 x 50 cm wooden panel, capturing the moment when the day gently transitions into the early evening. On this natural surface, young figures, seen from behind, stand out against the fine sand, heading towards the ocean. The sky, painted in shades of pink and violet, stretches across the background while clouds seem to dance, bathed in the soft afternoon light, offering a magical spectacle on the horizon. This wooden panel, meticulously prepared with gesso, adds textured dimensions to the artwork. Textures subtly emerge behind energetic brushstrokes of acrylic, capturing the essence of movement and the enthusiasm for adventure. Linda Clerget, an emerging artist based in Thomery, France, draws inspiration from the harmony between nature and a creative spirit inherited from a lineage of artists. Her vibrant and energetic neo-impressionist style transcends emotions, inviting an intimate connection with the beauty surrounding the world. "One Last Wave" embodies the peaceful transition between daytime activities and the thrilling anticipation of a surfing session. It's a celebration of the ephemeral beauty of moments where humanity and nature come together in perfect harmony, inviting everyone to immerse themselves in this unique visual experience.

France
Born in Paris in 1985, Linda Clerget fell under the spell of the overflowing energy of the Parisian streets, but it was in nature that her soul truly found its refuge, notably in her family's country house near Fontainebleau, the region where she would later choose to live. Her thirst for culture and creativity led her to assiduously frequent the books and museums of the capital throughout her youth, before traveling extensively as a journalist, curious to discover others, elsewhere. But the need to create and to turn towards the intimate led her to consider a career in the arts. After exploring various forms of expression (photography, writing, music), Linda finally found fulfillment in painting, where she can fully express her passion for color, texture, sensation and drawing. Trained in Paris at the Terre et Feu school, then nurtured by the teachings of American Impressionist masters such as Ben Fenske, Linda enriched her knowledge and refined her style, blending Impressionist techniques with a modern interpretation. A traveler at heart, Linda now explores France in search of natural and picturesque nuggets that serve as a starting point for painting landscapes that the artist sees as open doorways to fantastical, sensory worlds at the service of the viewer's personal dreams. Today, Linda Clerget exercises her passion from her home studio in Thomery, near the Fontainebleau forest.
