At the heart of Irina Metz's artistic practice lies a profound fascination with the natural world and the deeper, symbolic meanings that can be found within the simplest of subjects. Ripe red apple is more than just a fruit; it is a symbol of abundance, vitality, and the cyclical nature of life. The apple's lush, crimson hue evokes a sense of warmth, nourishment, and the innate joy of the harvest. By placing these apples within the expanse of a boundless, azure sky, the artist creates a visual juxtaposition that invites the viewer to contemplate the interconnectedness of the earthly and the celestial. The blue sky, with its infinite depth and serene tranquility, represents the spiritual and the transcendent. It is a canvas upon which the artist can explore the interplay between the material and the ethereal, the physical and the metaphysical. The apples, suspended against this boundless backdrop, become a conduit for the viewer to engage with larger themes of human existence, the cycle of life, and the enduring presence of the natural world. The artist encourages her audience to slow down, to embrace the present moment, and to find solace in the interconnectedness of all things. The ripe red apples, with their tangible, nourishing qualities, ground the viewer in the physical realm, while the expansive blue sky invites them to reflect on the deeper, more universal truths that lie beneath the surface.

I am turning to impressionists’ fundamentals, their challenge to capture flashes of emotions, memories and dreams. Re-thinking historical traditions in my abstracts I reflect deeper feelings evoked by daily life. Combination of eternal and modern techniques makes pursue of Happiness in my art key to inner and outer Balance. I wish my art helps people to live through turbulent times and teaches all of us to treasure moments of Joy and Beauty. WEBSITE http://irina.gallery
