Like nature, our inner landscape is layered and always has a new story to tell, for humans' courtship with transformation is never-ending. New visuals evolve quickly, paving the way for numerous mystical elements. Heart gathers and assembles them methodically, giving way to yet another landscape the soul rejoices in. "Resting Moorings" is an original oil painting from my collection of wetlands landscapes, painted in an impressionist style. The artwork is a blend of cool and warm colours that perfectly capture and complement the tranquility of the wetlands. I applied layers of oil paint to the canvas with palette knives and fingers, creating a striking, textured surface. Thank you for your interest in my work. Best, Deepali - Painted on a stretched canvas, mounted on a wooden frame - Gallery wrapped canvas with the painting extending around the sides and ready to hang - Ships in a sturdy box-packaging - Oil on Canvas

Deepali grew up in New Delhi, India. After working in the corporate sector for over two decades, she now creates from her home studio in Hyderabad. Her inspiration comes from nature's boundless beauty, with its vibrant spectrum of hues. Deepali says: Painting is like meditation, a prayer; it brings me immense joy. Each painting has its own silent language and has a different story for every eye that sees it. I want the vibrancy and urgency of the forms and colours on the canvas to communicate with the viewers, and I love to hear what they say. Listening to the viewer's interpretation is always intriguing. At times, their words leave me awed because what they say precisely propelled the brushes and fingers on the canvas; at other times, I don't see what they see on the canvas. However, that sometimes becomes the theme of my next artwork.
