Second House Painting

"Second House" tells a story about time that constantly passes and abundance that always exists. The signature located in the lower right corner of the painting refers to the Mayan tradition and symbolizes the visionary energy of the Eagle (Tzikin), in the eighth tone. Both Tzikin and the number eight refer to wealth, prosperity and abundance. The inspiration for the painting was a certain village, which had witnessed many centuries of human history. The old inn, on the left side of the picture, was once the center of the village and life went on around it. Although the building is now in the hands of nature, it still exudes power. Its windows and attention seem to be directed towards the second house, dating from the same period, which, however, is constantly used and renovated. Everything changes over time and while some elements of the landscape of this village have disappeared forever, others remain and carry the memory of the past into the future. The rhythm of Nature is the least variable, after night comes day, after summer comes autumn. And this is exactly the moment in time that "Second House" depicts. A new day is dawning, and with it curiosity, the desire to live and experience changes. At the same time, summer is leaving and from that day on, sunflowers will no longer look into the face of the Sun, because their heads are heavy with seeds and therefore ready to share their wealth. There are three of them, this number means creativity, going beyond what is known, creating new quality. And perhaps they are a gift from the first, male, Mars house to the second house, with the energy of Venus, ready to receive, marked by the light of a new, rising day. The painting is entirely varnished with a glossy varnish in a way that imitate an old photograph. The rant of canvas is painted so no additional frame is necessary. There are handles attached to the back.
