Poetry, calligraphy, painting, and seal carving are unique to Chinese painting, combining four excellent cultural forms into one. As the ancient saying goes, "There is painting in poetry, and poetry in painting." A good poem provides beautiful, picture-like imagery, while a good painting allows the viewer to appreciate a poetic atmosphere. This painting is inspired by Song Dynasty poet Wang Anshi's poem "Plum Blossoms." The entire poem is as follows: In the corner of the wall, a few plum branches, Bloom alone in the cold. From afar, you know it's not snow, For a subtle fragrance comes. This poem uses the plum blossom to symbolize the poet's noble character, reflecting his steadfast and unparalleled integrity.

I've been practicing Chinese painting for years and I'm a member of the Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Association. My focus is on freehand Chinese painting, particularly in flower-and-bird painting and calligraphy. For my art, I use Xuan paper and mineral pigments. Xuan paper, a traditional type of paper, has been used in Chinese painting for over 1,200 years since the Tang Dynasty. The mineral pigments, extracted from minerals, retain their vibrant colors over time.
