When looking at the painting, I feel joyful and happy. It makes me feel optimistic and alive, and it reminds me of wonderful times. About me and my paintings: I paint in layers. I love colors, shapes and textures. I am a believer that color affects people’s moods. There’s a reason we don’t see the world in black and white. I work mostly in acrylic, usually on canvas, although I also enjoy working in other media. My approach to painting is spontaneous and intuitive. I'm influenced by the nature as well by worn and weathered elements in the environment that reveal unusual colours, textures, and patterns. I studied social science and marketing in Austria and UK and worked in the field of graphic design and marketing. While working I always kept a paint brush near.
