The Palki or Palanquin was the most important means of transport of bride during medieval India. This Pendant is an accurate depiction of the bride carried to the bridegroom’s place by Palki. The arrival of the bride onto an embellished marriage dais is a breathtaking moment across every culture. It’s a heart-stopping event.
