The Glowing Church Painting

Here is a painting I made from a picture showing an isolated church kissing the coastal edges of a seashore at dusk. The contrast of the sweet colors radiating from the light inside this small place of worship in stark contrast with the exterior elements is quite an attractive celebration of isolation yet carries the power of light over surrounding darkness. It is the glow for me. As usual I look for poetic element in what I paint. Here is confidence of light regardless of the isolation of the celebration Jesus, the Christ, whose light couldn't be extinguished in the vast world of darkness up till today,. I celebrated this painting on quality watercolor with looseness and lightness of brush movements and strokes to depict a solemn but powerful content... in an impressionistic manner.
