This painting is inspired by the story of the Albanian writer Mitrush Kuteli entitled "Great is the calamity of sin". The protagonist is called Tat Tanushi. This is a painful story about human love. Tat Tanushi of Bubutima of Illyria is a learned and pious man, who falls in love with Kalija from Galilee. The powerful love for her begins to rival the love for the god, so Tat Tanushi falls into sin.
