These ladies are considered in Japan to be one of the Seven Lucky Gods. The Hindu goddess Sarasvati entered Japanese Buddhism during the late Heian period (794–1185). She came to be regarded in Japan as a goddess of wealth.The Hindu goddess, Saraswati, of knowledge, art and beauty, music, language, wisdom, poetry and rivers. And in the painting, they are in modern time. Got old, singing in local karaoke show. Sarasvati is also known as Japanese name, Benzaiten. The work is attached on wood panel. Tomomi was born in Gunma, Japan. Starting Art practice from graphic design through film-making to photography. She was very keen on films at school time. The first work was stop motion single frame hand-painted animation with 16 mm film. She joined London Film School located in Covent Garden, London and met like-minded international film-makers. Tomomi worked on various independent projects, including short animated documentary for BBC, art directed works screened on film festivals worldwide. Tomomi's first art solo exhibition took place in a gallery next to Kath Kidston's first store in London's Holland Park in 2003. The work included Drawing, Illustration, Kirie(Cut-out), Painting with paper and acrylic. Tomomi's work nominated for the first editor's choice in LondonArt.co.uk. She also earned highest sales artist of the month in TAGBOAT Next GenerationS / www.tagboat.com in 2012. Currently based in Japan.
