About The Artwork
I paint to be in the trance of creativity. To feel connected to something larger than myself, like meditating or dancing etc. I would like for the viewer to spend enough time to enter the space of the painting and allow for the unfolding, to sense patterns and rhythms. To experience an understanding that is new or undefined. I love oil paint for many reasons especially its ability to hold and reflect light. I like to work on a large scale because of the physicality of it.
