About The Artwork
I saw this family bending over an alligator exhibit at the Florida State Fair in 2009. It was an instant composition so I snapped a photo and painted it later. It won “Best of Show” in an art competition. The realism of Andrew Wyeth in watercolor and egg tempera holds me in awe. I use watercolors when I paint realistically because it lends itself to painting detail.
