Will Love Ever Return? Painting

My name is Adetokunbo Adetuyi. I am a self-taught artist based in Lagos, Nigeria. I work with acrylics, oil, paper, fabric, canvas and plastics. I started to paint during the COVID Pandemic as means to find respite in the middle of personal and global turbulence. I have, since then, experimented with different styles of art. I am currently focused on painting portraits. My background in the medical sciences deeply influences the portraits that I create. I attempt to bring to the fore what is supposed to be hidden beneath skin and subcutaneous fat. Through my art, I aspire to offer others the solace and insight it brings me.
