"....what we see is not what we behold, but rather, what we are". Fernando Pessao - "All the Dreams" Each of us lives in a world where our 'reality' is totally subjective and unique. This reality invites us to endless choices of personal renditions and interpretations on the one hand, while also raising doubts as to whether what we saw at first sight is actually right. The analogy is to some sort of game, where viewers are invited to see their own individual and unique truth in the artwork. And everyone's truth is different. My work involves my unique perspectives, and then conveying these, by association, in a visual photographic message that encompass time and motion. I choose images that allow another rhythms and associations, different to the original photographic imagery. The materials I use for my work include ordinary basic objects from everyday nature and life; building materials; gardens; packaging and more. The objects form and material content fascinate me and in turn, become my "paintbrush". In my work the creativity and rhythmic composition are already apparent in the unprocessed photograph; they stem from the contrasts in the various balances of the material, colors and light. I sometimes achieve this in a segmented photograph, and sometimes by using one fragment of a particular object, and then doing a computerized reconstruction, taking care to create a new and harmonious order.
