About The Artwork

This is an expression of my fascination with color, light, and shadow — and how they interplay with the emotional examination of a landscape. This series is an exploration of an unrealistic, unhealthy, insulting representation of the female appearance. Only LIMITED EDITION: Numbered as well as signed (back and front) edition of only 20 limited, with a certificate of authenticity. Fine Art Print on high-quality paper, long-lasting pigmented HDR ink. For further questions please contact the artist; Thank you.

Lenny Gerard started his career in the industry as a content creator for Netflix, H&M, and The Academy of Motion Pictures to name a few — conceptualizing, directing, and creating ads with an international viral reach. He studied photography at Parsons School of Design in NYC and has loved it ever since. Since then he has published a hardcover book, been exhibited in gallery solo and group shows, had his work displayed and archived at the famous Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) museum, and has exhibited both in the United States and abroad. He has been featured in several photography magazines and online publications. His fine art images are in private collections worldwide and in permanent collections of several prominent international galleries. Gerard is widely recognized for his expert and innovative use of Photoshop in creating images that run the gamut from believable realism to pure fantasy. His controversial position regarding image manipulation shines through in what he is producing— usually fine art photographs that are appreciated for their esthetic value rather than for their accuracy in depicting an actual medium.
