About The Artwork
Inspired by British Pop Art culture from the 1960s, especially Peter Blake. This is a silkscreen print, printed on Snowdon 300gsm white paper. It is acid free giving the print a long life factor. This is a small edition of 18 only and comes unframed. Hand made by myself from beginning to end, this print rejoins me to the 1970s when I first drew the still life drawing which was to become the subject matter you see today as a finished work.

DOB, 1950, Portsmouth, Hants, England. I am now retired. Art for me is a sanity life line. I was a member of the National Society of Painters, Sculptors and Printmakers and exhibited every year with the group since 2007- 2017. I have also exhibited at The Beatrice Royal Gallery, Hampshire UK (2002) and the Oxo Gallery, London(2005) Hampshire Sculpture Trust, Winchester UK. Other exhibitions are Art Erotica, The Gallery, Cork St, London Uk (2012) and The Royal Society of British Artists, RBA,The Mall Galleries, London UK (2012). Work held in private collections in Winchester Uk, London and Hong Kong. I will be in this years May Day Art trail on Hayling Island, Hampshire on the 10th & 11th. Further exhibitions at various other galleries up to 2014. I am currently involved in screen printmaking .
