This is seven colour screen print. Over the years I have drawn, painted and now screen printed old working boots inspired by Vincent Van Gogh. The use of screen printing as a medium was something I had to try to see if I could work with the multiple registration requirements needed to produce this image. It has taken several weeks to accomplish this. I printed a run of 20 but only 12 made it to the Final Cut. I never pre -work an image as I do this in my head knowing what effects I wish to create and play it by hand as I go. Each colour represents a separate screen and the process can be time consuming. this is an excellent print and looks wonderful when framed.

DOB, 1950, Portsmouth, Hants, England. I am now retired. Art for me is a sanity life line. I was a member of the National Society of Painters, Sculptors and Printmakers and exhibited every year with the group since 2007- 2017. I have also exhibited at The Beatrice Royal Gallery, Hampshire UK (2002) and the Oxo Gallery, London(2005) Hampshire Sculpture Trust, Winchester UK. Other exhibitions are Art Erotica, The Gallery, Cork St, London Uk (2012) and The Royal Society of British Artists, RBA,The Mall Galleries, London UK (2012). Work held in private collections in Winchester Uk, London and Hong Kong. I will be in this years May Day Art trail on Hayling Island, Hampshire on the 10th & 11th. Further exhibitions at various other galleries up to 2014. I am currently involved in screen printmaking .
