Artwork overview: The title of this collage refers to multiple quotes: Alice in Wonderland book, the title of a Stevie Nicks song (visible into the collage) and a fictional character that I created years ago, called Alice Donovan (I wanted to create a short stories collection about her adventures, but it was never developed). Collage on vinyl covers overview: I always wanted to work on bigger pictures, but unfortunately it's really hard to find vintage big photos. A while ago I finally found a solution to this problem: I went to some charity and thrift shops around my city to look for some inspiration, and I was amazed by the LP covers. So I brought some of them home to see what I could do. Now I am starting to explore these objects and I hope that they will bring me a lot of good suggestions. Materials used: Vintage paper and Posca pens on vintage LP cover. Important notes: • This is an original contemporary art collage realized on a vintage vinyl cover. • All the works have clear signs of wear and tear, and needs to be handled with care. • My artworks are based on vintage found objects (photos, postcards, LP covers, etc.), so they are one of a kind.

Naomi Vona (Desio 1982), is an Italian artist based in London. The artist defines herself as an "archival parasite, with no bad intentions". Her works combines different interests like photography, collages and illustration. Her research is focused on altering vintage and contemporary found images, creating a new interpretation of the original shots. Using pens, paper, washi tape and stickers she gives to every image a new life. Every work is basically composed of three elements: her life background, her inspirations and subconscious, that is also the glue that puts all together. Email: mariko.koda[at]gmail[dot]com
