About The Artwork
This piece was created during quarantine and the world was lacking color. The combination of architecture and wildlife is a common theme in art, usually one being inspired by the other, I combined them both for a surreal scene. With all my work I like viewers to feel stimulated to look around, within and without. Perhaps an escape of reality or another perspective to enhance one's own narrative, it's the viewers choice. Collage is my medium of choice due to the abundance of materials that get thrown out and the rich colors, textures and patterns that are created through the splicing and overlapping of multiple layers.
