Washing Print - Limited Edition of 6

This is an unframed canvas artwork produced for me by my fine art publisher. It is photograph based digital art. Over the years I have taken thousands of pictures which I combine and manipulate. For example the scene outside is an historic building I photographed which I scaled and inserted into the image. The model was never there, the sink was not there etc. Once the picture is composed there are loads of alterations, removing things, adding things, painting walls. Changing angles for sections to blend in. I know the picture I want, it just takes a lot of effort to get there. The finished picture is a female washing in a building dating back to 1485 and the possibility a person may be passing by the window. So on that basis the viewer may ask, does she not care, not expect anyone, etc. So something of a mystery or story.
