About The Artwork
In the animal world, deadly dangers are a daily routine. It is the peak of life - when an animal hunts or escapes. For me, this is the most interesting moment to illustrate, and the most difficult challenge to portray the frenzied dynamics of the chase in a static picture. So, part 5 in my series on birds and their food is a portrait of a cormorant diving for fish. This painting/drawing is hand-drawn on an iPad.
