Although Native Americans have many different tribes, we believe that we are all one tribe. We are all children of our beautiful Mother Earth. All people, birds, animals, plants, & trees. They are all our brothers and sisters, for we are all one tribe. We can always strive to be better & kinder to others. Sometime this may be easy to say & harder to do, but we should always strive to be kind to all around us, even when someone is unkind to us. Imagine if you could challenge yourself to do better each day. Focus on only releasing good into the world. Perhaps you are upset with someone. Maybe there’s someone who you were once friends with or even someone who you just don’t like. What if instead of focusing on the pain they caused you or some negative aspect of that person, you could stop to find the positive aspects of that person? What can you do or say to express yourself in a positive way instead of a negative one? What would begin to happen if everyone could do this? The world would start to become more positive, kinder, & filled with love. So next time you see a spider making a web, an ant on the ground, or another person next to you, stop & think how can you make things better for each individual. Every, single, life is precious & beautiful. Maybe you don’t want that spider in your house. Instead of taking its life, take the time to be kind & gently take that spider outside. Learn to be grateful for each precious moment you get to spend on this beautiful world. Our Mother Earth dearly needs more love & kindness, as do all her children. We must learn to express this love & kindness in everything we do. From taking care not to litter, being responsible for recycling, learn to waste less, & be kinder to all living beings. Because don’t forget, you can help make the world better for all of us, yourself included. For we, are, all one tribe.
