A found canvas with a known image of an impressive woman. The image is defaced, scrubbed, bleached. It has ink and pigments thrown and sprinkled. Her eyes still pierce through, and the movement of the image seems to suit her story better. It's called America Square because that's where I lost it, to an exhibition. I have no idea where she is, just as the one who left it outside for me doesn't either.

James Lovelock and Jacob Bronowski are two theorists who influence my thought process. In particular, Lovelock voiced that interaction with nature, even if outcomes cannot be articulated, are nevertheless good science. www.hannahbpedersen.com www.etsy.com/uk/shop/TwistedStitchUK
