As a Russian-born artist who has explored the world and its various cultures, art has always been a central pillar of my existence. My journey led me to Madrid, where I delved into the realm of photography at the TAI school from 2012 to 2017. However, fate took me back to Moscow during the tumultuous events of 2022, a time of great upheaval and uncertainty. Amidst the chaos and turmoil of war, I found solace in a new form of expression: painting. Previously unexplored by me, painting became a refuge during those dark times, offering me moments of respite from fear and anxiety. The process of painting, with its intricate blending of colors and textures, became a source of joy and escape from the harsh realities surrounding me. Even today, as I continue my artistic pursuits in this new chapter of my life, I find that my paintings often carry a hint of drama. While the reasons behind this artistic inclination remain elusive, I embrace it as a unique aspect of my creative identity. Each stroke of the brush unveils a world detached from reality, allowing me to lose myself in the creation of something entirely new and captivating.
