About The Artwork

Life is an opportunity. You can be anything you want to be. Love, cry, run, jump, eat, go out and live. Play with dirt, get wet under the rain, walk barefoot over the grass, eat that freakin ice cream cone! If something you will have regrets will be the shortness of life. La vida es la oportunidad de ser todo lo que queramos ser. Vive, ama, ríe, llora, corre, salta, come, viaja... Juega con lodo, mójate bajo la lluvia, camina descalzo por el pasto, cómete ese helado, nada te detiene. Si de algo te lamentarás de la vida es que fue demasiado corta.

I am an ethernal curious mind. Drawing, sculpting, creating things with my hands have always deeply inspired me. I am continually exploring new ways to express and share ideas thru art. As a kid I filled notebooks with drawings, I illustrated school books, worked designing grocery store fruit and vegetable signs with caricaturized versions of walking tomatoes and bananas. When I was 8 or 9 years old I sold cartoon characters made of clay. When in secondary school I wanted to have a drawing board but could not afford one so I learn to use tools and wood to build it myself. In highscool I needed to bring my over sized drawing block, rulers and supplies to school in my bike so I designed a special bag with straps, zippers and buttons to be fixed to my bycicle frame. In order to do that I had to learn how to use a sewing machine. Soon I was receiving orders for such a custom bike accesory! I used to illustrate one of the University student newspapers and designed student theatre play posters. I gifted my girlfriends, cousins and friends with hundreds of birthday and greeting cards, but I did not bought any of them, I use to craft and hand painted them myself. So this art love story of mine has never really left me but now the joy of it is more present than ever. I live in Mexico, in a hot desert climate city, Hermosillo, known for the most scarlet breathtaking sunsets in the world where I am married and have 2 sons and a daugther.
