About The Artwork
The Chrysler Building is a landmark Graef has walked by and stopped many times to take a long gaze up until her neck was sore. She has created a striking, colorful, bold and lighthearted vision of that building and those surrounding it using brilliant hues of yellow, green, orange, blue and lavender dancing on the canvas. The artwork captures the very busy composition of buildings packed in very close together, the patterns of the windows while playfully distorting the perspective. The painting is unframed and finished off with neatly painted edges in a neutral gray color. All the needed hardware is attached and the painting is ready to hang on the wall.
